SIKAIDA Standard Precision Mold Bases are widely used fundamental process equipment in the mold manufacturing industry. As the "skeleton" of the mold, they are used to fix and support molding components, guiding mechanisms, and ejection systems. As a professional manufacturer with its own factory in China, SIKAIDA is committed to providing cost-effective standard precision mold bases and, as a reliable supplier, meeting the diverse needs of global customers.
These Standard Precision Mold Bases adopt conventional tolerance standards (dimensional tolerance ±0.1~1mm, flatness ≤0.02mm/m), combining economic advantages, versatility, and fast delivery. They consist of standardized components such as a fixed mold base plate and a moving mold plate. The following is a detailed classification.
- Two-plate mold base (single parting surface): SIKAIDA's most widely used standard precision injection mold base. It features a simple structure, low cost, and fast delivery, suitable for most injection molded products such as daily necessities shells, home appliance parts, and plastic toys. The single parting surface design simplifies the processing and assembly process, improving production efficiency.
- Three-plate die set (narrow gate): Compared to a two-plate die set, it adds a push plate, resulting in a slightly more complex structure but greater versatility. Suitable for small precision parts requiring automatic gate removal (such as small plastic parts and precision daily necessities). The double parting surface allows for automatic separation of the gate and the product, ensuring product surface quality.
- Rear Guide Pillar Stamping Die Set: Offers a wide operating surface for easy feeding, suitable for manual operation. Primarily used for small to medium-sized stamped parts such as fasteners, kitchenware, and hardware tools. It is one of the most commonly used stamping die set types in SIKAIDA's standard product line.
- Center Guide Pillar Stamping Die Set: The guiding mechanism is located on both sides of the center, providing superior guiding accuracy compared to the rear guide pillar type. Suitable for stamped parts requiring high guiding accuracy (such as precision hardware parts and small stamped parts with moderate dimensions).
SIKAIDAS Standard Precision Mold Bases employ a standardized structural design, with all components mass-produced. This ensures stable product quality while reducing production costs. The standard configuration consists of four main systems with clearly defined functions and tight integration.
The core components of the mold base, including the panel, fixed template (A plate), moving template (B plate), and square iron (C plate), are all made of 45# high-quality carbon structural steel or low-alloy steel. After heat treatment, the hardness reaches 240~270HB, providing excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and machinability. Important templates can be made of P20 pre-hardened steel, balancing performance and economy.
Primarily includes guide pillars and guide sleeves, employing sliding guidance with a clearance of 0.02~0.04mm. The guide pillar and guide sleeve holes are machined to H7 precision, ensuring flexible and jam-free movement. This provides precise guidance for mold opening and closing and is crucial for ensuring the basic accuracy of the mold base.
Composed of a reset rod and ejection guide pins/sleeves, this system ejects the molded product from the mold cavity. Standardized design ensures stable and reliable ejection, preventing product deformation and damage, and adapts to the ejection requirements of different product types.
Includes high-strength bolts and locating pins to secure the mold base components, ensuring overall structural stability during mold operation. Standardized selection of fasteners and locating pins ensures good interchangeability and facilitates future maintenance and replacement.
SIKAIDA's various Standard Precision Mold Bases have clearly defined application boundaries, allowing customers to select suitable models based on product type, precision requirements, and market region. All SIKAIDA standard precision mold bases have a mold life of 100,000 to 500,000 cycles, meeting the needs of large-scale industrial production and supporting efficient production for customers.
As a professional manufacturer and supplier in China, SIKAIDA not only provides ample stock of standard specifications but also undertakes non-standard customization services. We can design secondary mold bases based on customer drawings to meet the personalized needs of different industries.
